Louisville Epoxy Garage is a referral service. We connect homeowners across the Louisville metro with independent, licensed contractors who install concrete floor coatings. We do not perform installation work ourselves.
Why this exists
Finding a good coating contractor is harder than it should be. The category attracts a mix of genuine specialists and people who bought a kit last year, and the difference does not show up until the floor starts peeling eighteen months later. Meanwhile the lead aggregators sell the same homeowner to five contractors at once, which serves nobody well.
How it works
You tell us about your space. We route the request to a contractor who works in your area and does the type of system you need. You get an estimate. There is no cost to you and no obligation.
What to ask any contractor
- How will you prepare the slab? The answer should involve diamond grinding, not acid etching.
- Will you test for moisture, particularly on a basement or below-grade slab?
- What is the topcoat, and is it UV stable?
- When can I walk on it, and when can I park on it?
- Are you licensed and insured, and can I see photos of floors you installed personally?
